Pasco County child protective investigator arrested for falsifying drug test records

NEW PORT RICHEY - A child protective investigator with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office was arrested Thursday for fabricating records in a child abuse case.

Kaylynn Scott, 24, of Dade City lied about interviewing and drug-testing two parents, deputies said. She reported the parents had tested negative and documented interviews with the mother and father. The mother involved in the case told deputies the test and interviews never happened.
